Islammode ("we", "our", "the app") is an Islamic productivity app that helps you reduce phone distractions through Dhikr, track your prayers, Quran reading, and build stronger habits. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.By using Islammode, you agree to this Privacy Policy.2. Data We Collect
2.1 Account & Profile Data
When you sign in with Apple, we receive:Apple User ID (anonymous identifier)
Email address (only if you choose to share it)
Name (only if you choose to share it)
During onboarding, we also collect:Age range (e.g. "18–25")
Gender (Male / Female)
This data is stored locally on your device and synced to our secure cloud backend (Supabase).2.2 Islamic Activity Data
To provide progress tracking and streaks, we store:Prayer completions — which prayers you completed each day
Quran reading — verses read per day, total verses, reading time
Dhikr counts — daily and all-time counts per Dhikr type
Daily goals — your personal goals for Prayer, Quran and Dhikr
2.3 Focus & Screen Time Data
To power the app-blocking and distraction-reduction features:Blocked apps — your FamilyActivitySelection (stored locally, never sent to our servers)
Screen time — seconds spent on your device today and historically
Unlock events — how often you unlocked blocked apps via Dhikr
Time saved — estimated time saved from blocked apps
2.4 Location Data
We request your location ("When In Use" only) to:Calculate accurate prayer times for your city
Determine your Qibla direction
Your exact coordinates are never stored on our servers. They are used only on-device for prayer time calculation.2.5 Usage & Analytics
We store locally:Streak data — current streak, longest streak
Weekly analysis — aggregated weekly performance data

4. Personalized Content
We use your age range and gender to show you relevant content and promotions within the app. This data is not sold to third parties. We use it solely to make the app experience more relevant to you.If you do not wish to receive personalized content, you may contact us at any time to opt out.5. Third-Party Services

We use Supabase as our secure cloud backend to store your profile, activity history and sync data across devices.Website: supabase.com

Data is protected by Row Level Security — only you can access your own data
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and purchases.Website: revenuecat.com
Data shared: Anonymous App User ID, purchase history, subscription status
RevenueCat does not receive your name or email unless you explicitly provide it
Apple Sign In
Authentication is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your Apple password.Website: apple.com/privacy
6. Data Storage & Security
All cloud data is stored on Supabase servers with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS)
Authentication sessions are stored in the iOS Keychain
Screen Time / FamilyControls data never leaves your device
Local data is stored in your app's sandboxed storage
7. Data Retention
Local data: Stored until you delete the app
Cloud data: Stored until you request account deletion
30-day history: Prayer, Quran and Dhikr daily history is synced for the last 30 days; all-time totals are kept indefinitely
Account deletion: Email us at the address below and we will delete all your data from Supabase within 30 days
8. Children's Privacy
Islammode is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.Users who indicate they are under 18 will not receive personalized advertising.9. Terms of Use — Islammode

By downloading, installing or using Islammode ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.These Terms apply to all versions of Islammode, including Islammode Free and Islammode Pro.2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Islammode. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App.3. Account & Sign In
Islammode uses Sign in with Apple for authentication
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID
One account per person — creating multiple accounts to abuse free trials is not permitted
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms
4. Islammode Free & Islammode Pro
4.1 Free Version
Islammode Free gives you access to the following features at no cost:Prayer tracking
Quran reading tracker
Dhikr counter
Dua library
Qibla direction
99 Names of Allah
4.2 Pro Version
Islammode Pro includes all Free features plus:Blocking distracting apps
Unlocking apps via Dhikr
Progress tracking & analytics
Weekly analysis
Stronger habit building tools
4.3 Free Trial
Islammode Pro may be offered with a 7-day free trial. The trial begins on the date you subscribe. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription.4.4 Subscription & Billing
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID via the App Store
Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
We do not offer refunds outside of Apple's standard refund policy
4.5 Downgrade to Free
If your Pro subscription expires or is cancelled, your account will revert to Islammode Free. Your data will be retained but Pro features will no longer be accessible.5. App Blocking & Screen Time
Islammode uses Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls API to block distracting apps on your device.You voluntarily choose which apps to block
Islammode requires you to perform Dhikr to temporarily unlock blocked apps
We do not guarantee that all apps can be blocked on all devices or iOS versions
We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from app blocking, including missed notifications or communications from blocked apps
Screen Time data never leaves your device and is not sent to our servers
6. Prayer Times & Religious Content
Prayer times in Islammode are calculated using established Islamic calculation methods
We do not guarantee that prayer times are 100% accurate for your specific location
Islammode is not a religious authority. The app is a productivity tool to help you build habits — it does not replace the guidance of qualified Islamic scholars
Quran content, Duas and Dhikr are provided for personal use only
7. User Data & Cloud Sync
By creating an account, you agree that your activity data (prayers, Quran, Dhikr, streaks) is synced to our secure cloud backend (Supabase) to enable cross-device access and data recovery after reinstallation
You can request deletion of all your data at any time by contacting us

8. Personalized Content
By providing your age range and gender during onboarding, you consent to receiving personalized in-app content and promotions relevant to your profile
This data is not sold to third parties
You may opt out of personalized content by contacting us
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the App
Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to bypass the Dhikr unlock mechanism through technical means
Create fake accounts or abuse free trials
Share your account with others
10. Intellectual Property
All content in Islammode — including design, code, icons, text and features — is the intellectual property of the developer. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the App without written permission.Quranic text and Hadith are used for educational and spiritual purposes and remain in the public domain.11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Islammode is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
Prayer times will be perfectly accurate for your location
App blocking will function on all devices and iOS versions
Data sync will always be available
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Islammode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:Missed prayers due to incorrect prayer times
Data loss due to device failure
Consequences of blocked apps
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Islammode at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.15. Governing Law
